The purpose of this page is to give the solar industry and ratepayers a page that contains information on the Arizona Corporation Commission's Open Meetings, Hearing, Rate Cases and REST Implementation Plans that influence the policy making decisions that regulate Arizona's solar industry.

These meetings are held by the Arizona Corporation Commission staff that determine what cases and special meetings will be heard by the Arizona Corporation Commissioners during the next week.

By law, staff meetings are open public meetings and the general public can sit in and listen to the proceedings and decisions being made for the Commissions next work week, but there is no interaction with staff.

II. Arizona Corporation Commission Open Meeting Agendas

By law, open meetings are open public meetings and the general public, including ratepayers and solar installation companies can fill out a slip and make public comments regarding whatever subject matter is being heard or discussed.

The Open Meeting Agenda's below will list all the cases that will be held during the Arizona Corporation Commission's open meetings. One-by-one the Chairman will ask each person to say their piece.

After the public comments, the Chairman hears testimonies from the utility companies and interveneres that serve as legal counsel for various groups that want to cross examine or introduce testimony to be considered by the Commissioners.

III. Arizona Corporation Commission Special Open Meetings

Special Open Meetings occur every so often to discuss special topics of intereest to the Commissioners such as recent workshops on energy efficiency and solar feed-in tariffs. They are usually informal proceedings intended to gather feedback from the industry on what points of interest should be considered when making public policy decisions.
